Stage 1

Stage 2
Amazon SES receives the email. An AWS Lambda function parses it, applies your routing rules, and dispatches the message via Amazon SNS. Per-tenant data is encrypted at rest with AWS KMS.

SigSpan runs entirely on AWS in us-east-1. Inbound email is received via Amazon SES, parsed by AWS Lambda, persisted to DynamoDB with AWS KMS encryption at rest, and dispatched via Amazon SNS. Every message is audit-logged with a 30-day retention window. AWS WAF protects the customer-facing API in production; credentials and signing keys are held in AWS Secrets Manager.
